Sonny Antonio

CEO / Founder

Sonny Antonio is an expert on the rule tariffs governing Electric, Gas, Phone & TV. He worked for PG&E, for 24 + years working his way through the ranks from helper (ditch digger) to welder to foreman to Management Director, before moving into the private Sector. He left PG&E to run UDI/Tetrad where he was in charge for 4 years before starting his own consulting firm, Integrated Utility Consulting Corporation, the parent company of Sunshine Design. 

Sunshine Design was formed in the summer of 2003 by Sonny and his wife Carla. Sunshine, along with IUCG, provides full service utility design and expertise for both commercial and residential building projects. His affiliations include NAHB, CBIA, BIA and HBA. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s college and Executive Management training from the University of Michigan.

Anne Hathaway

Senior Project Manager

Anne Hathaway is one of our Senior Project Managers at Sunshine Design. Anne worked at John Muir Hospital / Sierra Surgery Center for 7 years before getting into utility design. Anne spent 4 years with Comcast, doing Cable TV design, and has been with Sunshine Design since 2003.

Anne enjoys her work and strives to do what she can so Sunshine Design can maintain it’s reputation as a leader in the Applicant Design business.

Dennis Lordan

Senior Project Manager

Dennis Lordan graduated from Chico State with a BS Degree in engineering. He then worked Underground Construction at PG&E for 4 years, which led him to the gas engineering department where he worked from Routine to ADE in 4 years. Dennis left PG&E after 16 years to work with UDI Tetrad, an applicant Design Company. He spent two years at for UDI and then left to come to Sunshine Design.

Dennis has been with the firm for over five years as a Senior Project Manager. He also does Electric and Gas Design as the lead engineer for our team.

Derek Antonio

Project Manager

Derek Antonio is one of our Project Managers and has been with Sunshine Design / IUCG for over 15 years.  He graduated from Pinole Valley High School in 1998 and became proficient in AutoCAD in 2005.

Derek is the main liaison and project lead with Utility companies and Telcom Companies to provide the timely completion of projects for our customers. He coordinates with Civil and architectural firms in order to prepare initial plan submittals to PG&E and telecommunications companies. Derek is committed to keeping Sunshine Design a leader in Applicant Design.
